Mixed Media – 3D prints + Arduino Code

When creating this piece, I was interested in developing the impression of a sentient being through electronics; as well as creating a dynamic relationship between a viewer and a robot. This robot cannot move, but instead reacts to it’s environment vocally when it senses motion. The pitches of this robot’s speech reflect it’s current level of excitement. The closer that motion is detected in proximity to the robot, the more excited it becomes.
